Wow! To say my life has been turned upside down, inside out, and every which way from Sunday this past month would be an understatment. Everything I had plained has basically become null and void. To say that was devastating was an understatement but I've finally gotten to a point where I'm trying to put things back together and move forward inspite of it all.
Fortunately, my emotional set back that did not lead to a set back weight wise and I have reached my 5% weight loss goal! I'm pretty proud of myself for that with everything that is going on and I've already started heading to my 10% goal!
Fall softball started off with a bang last night with a double header. No Glove, No Love won both of our games! Woo hoo! Sunday holds more softball and Monday will bring volleyball. I'm gonna be a very busy girl, but I'm gonna get back in shape or die trying!

Exciting New Things!!!!
Well, a few minor set backs this week. The double header didn't go so well and I ended up having an asthma attack half way through the 1st inning of the second game. Pitiful! If that wasn't enough to remind me how far astray I had come, my follow up appointment didn't go as well as I hoped it would either. Got a little more bad news about my health but I'm trying to move past it and focus on the things that I'm doing to make things better. THEY ARE GOING TO GET BETTER!!!!!!
This fall is gonna be awesome! I'm so excited about all of the new adventures I'm fixing to get into. Fall Softball season with the Disaster Blasters, Fall Softball with some awesome friends, and an intro to Volleyball. Well, not really an intro but I haven't really touched one since Jr. High so it might as well be!
I've also managed to start a Walk/ Jog/ Run Team at work and we will be meeting twice a week plus some local events on Saturdays and whatever weekly challenges we can manage to come up with!
I'm gonna be super busy and super exhausted but I'll definitely be getting in enough exercise every week! No doubt about that! Now I'm just praying that my recent head injury and wrist don't hold me back. *fingers crossed*
Now to focus on my diet. I've been doing much better in eating the things that I should but I definitely still have some room for improvement. My biggest weekness has been fried foods! I'm a true southern girl and I love them through and through. Why do they have to be so bad for your health?!

A New Beginning
I got on the treadmill for the first time since I started this new journey and nothing tells you that you're in the worst shape of your life like a 22:00 mile. Needless to say I now have 2 goals. 1 is to get off so dang many medicines and 2 is to get a reasonable mile time. 22 minutes is far from reasonable but I guess I had to start somewhere. Hey, at least I have a lot of room for improvement!
Last time I told you I had my Dr.'s appointment. I like this new Dr. so far and I have high hopes for him helping with this. He was as unhappy with my current physical state as I was. Especially when he learned how it had begun to effect my health.
While I tried to watch what I ate and the amount I ate a little more carefully beginning the day of my Dr.'s appointment I couldn't start my new eating habits until I was able to make a trip to the grocery store. So I started my new eating habits today. The good news was I wasn't hungry at all and didn't even eat all of my allotted food. I was pleasantly surprised because I was expecting to be hungry all day long on a 1200 calorie diet. Isn't that how many calroies anorexics eat in a day?!
Now comes the hard part of sticking with everything I started today!
I'd like to end on a happy note. I've already lost a couple of pounds and it hasn't even been a week yet! And that was without the new eating habits and exercise habits! Woo Hoo!

Wake Up Call
I had my wake up call. Not only did I get on the scale and it read more than it ever has, that includes when I went in to deliver Lilli, but I typed up my medicine list tonight. I'm going to a new Doctor tomorrow, and I figured with my Head Injury, and subsequent memory problems, it would be better for me to type a list of the medicines I'm on so as not to forget any. It's ridiculous how long this stupid list is. I'm currently on 13 medications! That's insane! It's now imperative that I not only lose weight but also that I get healthier. This list has got to shrink.
I'll tell you right now that I'm no where near brave enough to publish my weight so I will publish my weight loss Biggest Looser style and use percentages. Needless to say that right now I'm at 0%.
